WHOSOEVER CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED!
Posted by MIKKOS GURLEY

Salvation is not just for certain people, it is for everyone. Because if Jesus died and rose for somebody than he did it for everybody. The love of Jesus was made available to all of us over 2000 years ago on an old rugged cross, where Jesus hung His head and died for all mankind. That's some powerful stuff, and I refuse to keep it to myself like Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection is some secret that only applies to me. The Bible says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.
Are you a WHOSOEVER? Pastor John Gray puts it this way, "leave the door open!" This is one of my favorite quotes, because it reminds me that the same love that set me free is available to everyone else as well. The Bible says, "So if the Son makes you free, then you are unquestionably free." John 8:36. So there you have it, salvation is yours if you are willing to believe and receive it. The Bible simply states in Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. See its that simple, there is no need to jump up and down on one leg 50 times or tap your head and rub your stomach at the same time until you pass out. WHOSOEVER means everyone, and when you find it, share it with someone else so we can continue to spread the love of Jesus.
